A citizen group from the Saline Sustainability Circle developed a set of planning guidelines which may be used by its member organizations: Saline Sustainability Circle Regional Planning Guidelines, March 2004.

Washtenaw County Comprehensive Plan

Joint Municipal Planning Act

The Joint Municpal Planning Act (Act 226 of 2003) allows each of two or more municipalities' legislative bodies to adopt an agreement that establishes a joint planning commission.  Washtenaw County Planning and Environment has prepared a summary of this Act.
